With two days to go until Wednesdays 3pm et deadline, theres some trade speculation surrounding Jason Spezza and the Ottawa Senators. Sources tell TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger that the team is quietly gauging interest on the Senators captain, though Spezza has a limited no-trade clause and carries a large contract. The news comes amidst other reports that the Senators have been searching for a winger to play with him. However, general manager Bryan Murray says he has not talked about the 30-year-old centre. "I had one guy ask if I want to comment to quiet the rumours and I said, No. Im not going to ... The more I say about it the more its going to be played over and over in the next couple of days," Murray told reporters in Vancouver, where the Senators beat the Canucks 4-2 in the Heritage Classic on Sunday. "Ill just say we have not talked, at this point in time, about Jason Spezza." Spezza, who was named captain last fall after the departure of free agent Daniel Alfredsson, has one year remaining on his current deal which pays him $4 million next season - but with a $7 million cap hit. The team signed him to a seven-year, $49 million contract in 2007. He has 15 goals and 46 points in 56 games this season. Fred Warner Super Bowl Jersey . 1. CAVALIERS: At 19-20, theyre a mess. Watched the game Tuesday night vs. Phoenix and their defence was poor (107 points and 52 per cent for Suns). Where is the high level play from Kyrie Irving and LeBron James (13 turnovers!)? Kevin Love looks like a man thats wondering what he got himself into. Ronnie Lott Super Bowl Jersey . Bayern winger Franck Ribery marked his league return after recovering from a cracked rib by scoring two goals and setting up two more as the league leaders inflicted the heaviest home defeat on Bremen in the Bundesliga. http://www.49ersofficialfanshop.com/jerick-mckinnon-jersey-sales.html. Cruz set the tone with a two-run homer in the first inning, and Baltimore scored eight times in the eighth to pull away for a 12-3 victory in Game 1. The major league leader with 40 homers during the regular season, Cruz added an RBI single to his early blast off Max Scherzer. Kyle Juszczyk Super Bowl Jersey . The Blue Jays lost to the New York Yankees 3-1 Tuesday night, their seventh defeat in 10 games. Rasmus was put on the 15-day DL on May 15 because of a sore right hamstring. Hes hitting .222 with nine home runs and 19 RBIs. Richard Sherman Super Bowl Jersey . The game got off to a less-than-ideal start for the Jets as Oliver Ekman-Larsson found a wide open net from the slot and opened the scoring for the Coyotes a lead in the first period, but Olli Jokinen answered back just over half a minute later. The struggling Winnipeg Jets hope for a blast from the past when the Florida Panthers come to town Tuesday night. Winnipeg (21-14-8) enters the matchup on a 2-4-1 stretch after concluding a three-game trip with a 5-4 shootout loss at Pacific Division-leading Anaheim on Sunday. Theyre also 1-3-1 in their last five at home. Viewers in the Winnipeg region can watch all the action LIVE on TSN3 with coverage beginning at 6:30pm ct, while radio coverage is available on TSN 1290 starting at 6pm ct. The longest trip of 2014-15 has resulted in a season-high winning streak for the Panthers. Visiting the Jets in recent years, though, has produced a string of blowout losses. Florida looks to extend their win streak to four while avoiding a fifth straight road loss in the series Tuesday night. The Jets led the Ducks 3-1 after the first period and was up 4-2 heading into the third, when Anaheim scored the tying goal with 2:03 remaining before securing the victory in the sixth round of the shootout. Despite the blown lead, coach Paul Maurice was happy with the trip after a 5-4 shootout win over defending champion Los Angeles on Saturday gave the Jets three points in the final two games against some stiff competition. Its a real positive, Maurice told the Jets official website. Doesnt happen very often in this league. Im disappointed with the loss, but not in the team. The fight was good. Winnipeg blew a 3-0 lead against the Kings before pulling out the win, and thats something defenseman Zach Bogosian said needs to stop. We have to be able to weather that storm, said Bogosian, whose first two goals of the season have come in the last two games. We did get a point out of it (Sunday), but we should have gotten two. Florida (20-11-9) opened a six-game trip with a 2-0 win over Buffalo on Jan. 2, and following a 4-3 loss to Washington two days later, has won the last three while scoring 13 goals.dddddddddddd Brian Campbell had the go-ahead goal in the second period, and the Panthers added two more in the third to beat Edmonton 4-2 on Sunday. I dont think we were at our best tonight, but we found a way to get it done, Campbell said. Its a big game, getting towards the end of the trip, you have to keep the pedal down. Roberto Luongo continued his strong play with 31 saves, improving to 8-1-1 with a 1.91 goals-against average in his last 11 starts. Weve got four balanced lines, Luongo said. Theyve been chipping in offensively, which is nice and weve been finding ways to win hockey games. We have one more big game left on this trip, so well enjoy tonight and refocus on the next one. Eleven players have scored on the trip, with Jonathan Huberdeau leading the way with three goals and two assists. Sean Bergenheim and Nick Bjugstad have added four points each. Thats how youre going to win with our hockey team, coach Gerard Gallant said. You look at our lineup, we dont have an 80, 90-point guy, so we have a bunch of guys chipping in, working hard. Florida scored eight times in winning its first two visits to Winnipeg after the franchise relocated from Atlanta, but its been outscored 22-6 in going 0-3-1 since.
